Striker Lawrence Shankland has completed a move Belgian club Beerschot.
Dundee United have opted to cash in on their star forward as he enters the final year of his contract and this week agreed a deal that Tannadice sources insist could exceed £1million.
Record Sport exclusively revealed on Monday that Shankland had been granted permission to fly to the continent for talks with the Jupiler Pro League side.
They bid an initial £300,000 for the Scotland international before upping the offer to a level at which United were prepared to do business.
It's understood further add-ons could bump up the windfall the Premiership club will land.
Shankland is out of contract in summer 2022 and had indicated to Tannadice chiefs that he was keen to move on.
And with the prospect of an extension unlikely, United have opted to ensure they do not lose the 25-year-old for nothing in a year's time.
