Lawrence Okolie will return to the ring at Wembley Stadium next month when he fights on the undercard of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois.
The Briton, who moved up to heavyweight last year, is slated to battle Kevin Lerena on Saturday, July 19.
Okolie is 21-1 in his professional career, boasting 16 knockout victories.
Okolie, the former WBO cruiserweight champion, vacated the bridgerweight title with his latest move last year, and Lerena was promoted to champion as a result.
Okolie’s most recent bout was against Hussein Muhamed at Wembley Arena, defeating him in December with a counter right to win the vacant WBC Silver heavyweight title via stoppage.
That belt will be on the line when he takes on Lerena, the South African, who is 31-3.
Lerena was beaten by Justis Huni - who himself was recently knocked out by Fabio Wardley - in Riyadh back in March 2024, but returned to winning ways with a victory over Serhiy Radchenko back in his native South Africa, defending the bridgerweight title vacated by Okolie.
Lerena himself has fought one of the main eventers - Dubois - back in 2022 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The South African challenged the Briton for the regular version of the WBA heavyweight title in December that year, and knocked Dubois down three times - all with left hands - in the first round.
However, an injured Dubois rallied to prevail with a third-round TKO finish, knocking him down with a right hand before landing a flurry of uppercuts to finish Lerena off.
