Lawrence Guy opens up about feeling when he got Super Bowl LIII ring

New England Patriots defensive end Lawrence Guy received his first Super Bowl ring this summer after seven season in the NFL. While many Patriots players were sporting as many as six or eight Super Bowl rings, Guy was absolutely stunned to get his first.

He explained the scene for the party in the backyard of Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s house. As Bill Belichick explained the history of Super Bowl rings, servers began to bring out the rings to the players.

“That is an experience right there,” Guy said during an appearance on “The Jim Rome Show” last week. “It’s like, ‘Man, I can’t wait to see what this ring looks like.’ And when you open it up, the little light shines on it. It’s just something you can’t explain. I’m going to keep the box, keep the napkins, keep the cue card in front of me. I was just making sure I cherished the moment.”

Here’s a video of the Patriots getting a first look at their rings.
