Lawrence Chaney to star in own 'gorgeous' BBC Scotland show Homecoming Queens

RuPaul Drag Race icon Lawrence Chaney has announced they will have their own show on BBC Scotland and it's a dream come true.

Already having made a name for themselves in Glasgow, Lawrence rose to fame after appearing on Drag Race UK, flying the flag for Scotland and of course won with their outfits and wit.

The drag queen, who is often seen in purple outfits, will be coming to BBC Scotland with Lawrence Chaney's Homecoming Queens and promises fans it will be 'gorgeous'.

With production company Tern TV, Lawrence will be taking celebrities back to their hometown to relive their youth. While no date has been released yet, the star is exciting for us to see what they've been working on.

Taking to Instagram to announce the drag queen wrote: "JUST ANNOUNCED! My brand new TV show “Lawrence Chaney’s Homecoming Queens” is coming soon!

"It’s always been a dream of mine to host TV following in the footsteps of RuPaul and Lorraine Kelly, two of my icons. We’ve made something gorgeous."
