Lawrence Chaney heads back to Glasgow after wrapping up in Hollywood

Reigning Ru Paul's Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney has returned to Scotland following a three week stint in Hollywood.

The Scots Queen who scooped the Drag Race crown back in March also won an all expenses-paid trip to the States to create a digital series with the producers of the show.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Lawrence only recently managed to hop on a plane for the once in a lifetime opportunity.

But now they have waved goodbye to Hollywood and headed back home, to Glasgow.

Lawrence posted: "On my way back to the UK - what have I missed? UK Hun?"

Before sharing a photo of wrapping up the project, with the caption: "That’s a wrap in LA!"

"Just down the road from WOW but can’t remember the name. And of course….. Panda Express! Orange chicken, prawns and and cheese pastries! X"

At the time of scooping the crown, Lawrence said: This is insane! It’s incredible. Scotland babes, I brought the crown home.”

Ru said: “Condragulations to our first Scottish queen, Laurence Chaney. Your charisma uniqueness nerve and talent have charmed the world.

"To our runners up, the incredible Bimini Bon Boulash and Tayce, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of you in the future. To all our amazing queens, thank you for sharing your much-needed love, light and laughter during these challenging times.”
