Four people were robbed recently on the same block in Lawndale after agreeing to meet there for a sale, according to Chicago police.
In each incident, the victim agreed to meet in the 3600 block of West Arthington Street after speaking with someone on a “for-sale app,” police said. When they arrived, a group of teenage boys robbed them at gunpoint.
The four robberies happened between 12 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. between Dec. 22 and Dec. 29, police said.
The robbers fled in a red or maroon four-door sedan in one incident, police said.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
