Law firm Thorntons appoints three associates in round of promotions

Law firm Thorntons has named three new associates in a round of six promotions for its solicitors.

The three new associates are Joanne Clancy and Lauren Fettes from Personal Injury in Edinburgh and Neil Falconer from Intellectual Property in Edinburgh.

Rachel Anderson and Rachel High, both from Private Client in Dundee, become senior solicitors along with Michaela Dougan from Personal Injury in Edinburgh.

Three of the newly promoted solicitors completed their traineeships with Thorntons.

Thorntons chairman Colin Graham said: “It’s great to recognise the fantastic achievements of these six solicitors and announce their well-deserved promotions.

“Training and development remains integral to the growth and success of the firm and by encouraging internal career progression, it provides motivation for our colleagues to work hard for clients and the firm as a whole. Congratulations to our newly appointed associates and senior solicitors.”
