Law firm Murray Beith Murray names new associate and two senior solicitors

Edinburgh-based solicitors Murray Beith Murray has appointed a new associate and two senior solicitors in a round of promotions.

Fraser Scott, who has been with the firm since 2015, is promoted from senior solicitor to associate in the asset protection group. He specialises in advising individuals and their families on private client matters.

Anna MacLeod becomes a senior solicitor in the rural property team, having been with the firm since 2017. She qualified in 2015 and specialises in the purchase and sale of farms, forestry and sporting estates.

Sally Pugh is also promoted to senior solicitor, having joined the property group in September 2018. She qualified in August 2016 and advises on all areas of commercial property including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, refinancing and renewables.

The promotions follow the recent appointment of partners Andrew Linehan and Bill Meldrum in the property group.

Senior partner Hugh Younger said: “We recognise the importance of having the best people with the right experience and expertise to deliver the highest standards of service to our clients. These promotions are well-deserved and recognise the contribution these individuals make in helping Murray Beith Murray meet the legal, financial and administrative needs of individuals and families, family trusts, charities and private companies.”
