MBM Commercial has appointed Stephen Hart as its new head of fintech and financial services.
He will provide specialist advice to fintech firms, funds and investors in the newly-created role, which boosts the number of partners within the Edinburgh-based law firm.
Hart joins MBM after six years with Medici Legal, the specialist fintech practice he founded.
He has experience in authorisations, appointed representatives, change of control, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, payment services, e-money, insurance distribution, operational resilience and wind down planning.
