Law and District Amateur Athletics Club athletes set a new record and posted season’s best and personal best times during match one of the Joint League at Grangemouth on May 30.
The Joint League is a summer track and field competition for athletes in under-17, under-20 and senior age groups.
In 1500m, James Gillon recorded a season’s best with 4.06.19, Kieran Pugh recorded a personal best with 4.16.1, and Logan Whitton knocked 24 seconds off his previous PB with 4.36.37.

Six males took part in 800m, with Oscar Logan recording a season’s best with 1.57.19, with PBs for James McClafferty (2.01.76), Matthew Gillon (2.05.43), Finn Milligan (2.22.34) and Cameron Fry (2.25.56) while Craig Cherrie recorded a time of 2.15.05.
Emily McNicol recorded a new club record and a personal best with 2.17.41 in 800m and Fiona Currie set a personal best time of 2.27.21.

Ayumi Faulds knocked nine seconds off her PB with 2.40.20, and Yuki Faulds took seven seconds off hers with 2.49.39.
Natalie Brownlie set a new personal best in long jump with 4.19.
In javelin, Thomas Lafferty set a season’s best with 52.96, while Miya Waldron set a PB of 29.66.
Shannon Gough set a season’s best of 9.40 in shot put, while Jade Gray recorded 10.67.

Law and District AAC train at Wishaw Sports Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday evening and at John Cumming Stadium, Carluke, on a Monday and Wednesday evening.
