
Lavender flowers at Horomi-touge pass in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, are now in full bloom. Around 7,000 lavender plants are growing in a field measuring about 6,400 square meters. The pass, located 300 meters above sea level, is a popular spot for enjoying a night view of the city. After sunset, the slope gives off a purple hue that's accentuated by the headlights of cars arriving to catch the view.
