Laurence Fox has another taking the knee tantrum and calls England players ‘spoilt little woke babies’

Laurence Fox has had yet another tantrum about England players taking the knee and, yes, we are as bored of his nonsense as you are.

Posting on Twitter, the full-time contrarian shared footage of Hungary fans booing the England team last night ahead of the World Cup qualifier game and celebrated it, like the good patriot he is.

He said: “Yes! Great to hear some good booing of the poor old oppressed millionaires! Spoiled little woke babies.”

As well as being booed, England players were subjected to racist abuse last night. Raheem Sterling, for instance, was pelted with cups as he celebrated his first goal in the game. People also reported hearing monkey chants from the stands, causing politicians and other figures to speak out against the racism.

Yet Fox decided to plant himself firmly on the wrong side of the argument by celebrating the booing.

Unsurprisingly, as a result, he received a comprehensive dressing-down:

It is not the first time the actor has droned on about an anti-racist gesture and please someone help us because we doubt it will be the last. Filming the team taking the knee before the kick-off against Denmark in the Euro 2020 semi-final, the former actor tweeted: “You live in the one [sic] of the most tolerant and welcoming countries on earth, you virtue signalling babies.”

He even said he wanted the team to lose, though he later apologised and said he was being a “d*ck” in a rare moment of self-awareness. Clearly the lesson he had ‘learned’ had gone in one ear and out the other, however.

England won 4-0 in the game against Hungary last night but it seems clear the biggest loser associated with the match is Fox.
