Lauren Luke's makeup tutorial: Light and glossy

Lauren Luke: glossy: Step 1
This is a subtle day look that gives you a bit of a lift without being overdone. Start with a coating of foundation applied with a wet brush to give a dewy appearance. Then brush a mid-tone brown eye shadow all over the eyelid - I'm using Bourjois Ombre Stretch eye shadow in Flexi Brown. Photograph: Hong Gyoung Tae
Lauren Luke: glossy: Step 2
Apply a black line of Estée Lauder's Artist's Eye Pencil - you want to use a smudgy, creamy pencil rather than a sharp one. Work along the lower lash line for a nice smoky effect. Add the mascara and leave it to dry while you get on with the next step. Photograph: Hong Gyoung Tae
Lauren Luke: glossy: Step 3
Apply a light peachy pink blusher to the apple of your cheeks, brushing it right into the hairline. It's best to use a fluffy brush to diffuse the colour. Photograph: Hong Gyoung Tae
Lauren Luke: glossy: Step 4
Finally, I put on lip salve before using a peach lip liner - Line & Define Lip Pencil by No7 is good - applied all over. Then I add Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Lip Gloss in Pearl Sugar for a really good shine. Photograph: Hong Gyoung Tae
