Lauren Goodger warned to 'slow down' by midwife after baby stopped growing

The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has been told she needs to slow down in order to protect the health of her unborn child.

The 34-year-old reality star is expecting her first child in July with boyfriend Charles Drury, 23., and says that a midwife recently told her that the baby "has stopped growing a tiny bit."

Writing in her OK! column, she penned: "[It] sounds scary, but her growth will speed up as the weeks go on my little girl is bang on the middle of a normal weight at the moment."

The reality star had a wide-ranging conversation with the specialist, which also touched on her beauty business.

"The midwife asked me what I've been up to and I told her about re-starting my aesthetics business and she said this is the time where I should be slowing down and not taking on something new," she continued.

Lauren has been working at her salon, which offers aesthetic treatments like lip fillers, and has been photographed performing procedures on customers.

She recently put a call out on her social media looking for models that wish to have a treatment called the Russian Lip, a procedure where filler is injected into lips vertically to create a heart shape from the lips, much like a Russian Doll.

"I am looking for Russian Lip models .. I am fully qualified and fully trained. I just want models! My fav lip look so Please DM @lg_aestheticslondon for prices times and dates,” she wrote on her Instagram page.

Lauren has been returning to work ever since the pandemic restrictions lifted, allowing salons to reopen.

Back in January, Lauren revealed she was pregnant with her boyfriend Charles, who is 11 years her junior.

Throwing a pink-themed gender reveal party, she announced to the world that she was having - you guessed it - a girl.

Speaking to OK! in January when the baby news was announced, Lauren proclaimed: "This is where my life begins."
