Lauren Goodger breaks lockdown rules as she parties with pals in her flat

Lauren Goodger broke the rules of lockdown to throw a bash at her flat in Essex.

The reality babe was snapped and filmed by pal John Haynes as they enjoyed drinks with friends in Lauren's Essex pad.

One video shows Lauren and John cuddling up to each other as they share a laugh, another featuring a mystery man strumming a guitar while lying back on the sofa.

This is against the current lockdown rules implemented by the government, but Lauren's rep has told that she didn't know having friends round was a breach of the current regulations.

Her spokesperson said: "She was informed that this was allowed and that lockdown rules had been lifted slightly.

"She had also seen other people having similar gatherings on other people's Instagram Stories.

"Lauren has now been told to look at the government website and now understands the guidelines."

They also addressed Lauren's joke that she and John had found a romantic spark, saying that she wasn't serious and isn't currently in a relationship.

Lauren's found a silver lining to her lockdown as she committed herself to a renewed health kick.

She's kept fans well informed of what she's doing to keep fit, including gruelling workouts with exercise bands to properly work up a sweat.

The TOWIE star did stir controversy, though, over her comments to an NHS worker who urged her to stay home before the formal lockdown went into place.

A nurse branded her "so so selfish" for going to a work function in mid-March and told her she should "stay indoors", which didn't sit well with Lauren.

She wrote back: "I am working please shut up...until the government and NHS says all salons closed until then I will be working!"

Lauren did share a post dedicated to a man who knew her friend, and who died from coronavirus.

"Rest in peace, Spud," she wrote, "This virus is real, and it's spreading.

"PLEASE STAY AT HOME PEOPLE."
