Lauren Goodger brands Dancing On Ice judges ‘vile’ after not featuring on special

Lauren Goodger launched into a rant on Twitter after she tuned into Dancing on Ice: The Greatest Show on Ice on Sunday evening.

The skating series aired a TV special where they looked over the past series' best moments, classic performances and even replayed some of the biggest rows and horrifying injuries.

And as former TOWIE star Lauren tuned into the one-off, which was scheduled in as the usual competition was temporarily axed for a week, she fumed that she had not featured - after she saw a tweet from Dancing on Ice alumni Jake Quickenden.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, reality TV personality Jake typed: "Gutted watching Dancing on Ice tonight, had so many amazing memories and unfortunately didn’t get to see any!!

"I guess they have loads of footage to fit in to 2 hours!!!

"Always have the amazing memories though! Good to watch tonight, been some incredible skaters".

Pregnant Lauren then decided to re-tweet Jake's message and fume that she received no screen time before calling the judges - who were Robin Cousins, Karen Barber, Pussycat Dolls' Ashley Roberts and choreographer Jason Gardiner when she appeared in 2013 - as "vile."

Clearly angered, she wrote online: "Same as me I was hoping would show my year of me ... and my training and performances !!"

Lauren - who was paired up with professional skater Michael Zenezini before being voted off on week two - then lashed out that she should have had a different partner.

The reality personality continued: "Def needed a dif partner would of been funny to show my [downcast face with sweat emoji] and nerves lol but also a good performance and how vile the judges were - no need back then! [sic]"

Last night, many viewers were baffled and "disappointed" as some stars from over the years did not appear to make the cut on the DOI special.

They pointed out that some epic performances were not shown, and some of the past contestants either didn't appear at all or were given limited air time.

Chris Fountain, Jake Quickenden, Max Evans, Jorgie Porter and Ian 'H' Watkins were among the past favourites that fans did not get enough of.

Many took to Twitter asking where they were, while Chris and Jake also spoke out over the "chopping out" of scenes.

One fan said: "Jake Quickenden was outstanding on this show but we’ve barely seen him......hope he’s coming up."

Another tweeted: "what’s happened to @JakeQuickenden footage???? A winner. Disappointed was looking forward to seeing Jake and Vanessa."

A third commented: "I wish they had shown more of you, @Ianhwatkins, @maxevans13 and a few others who I have loved over the years - I felt very short changed by the #DancingOnIce best bits show tonight."

This was echoed by another viewer who wrote: "Why did you leave H and Matt out of your show tonight? After all they made #dancingonice history last year - not impressed."

The comments kept coming too, with another reading to Chris: "Eloquently put!! I would still like @dancingonice to explain why they didn't do your time on the show justice..! But thoroughly loved that series..!! You guys did amazing!"

Another said: "They should of shown more not on really you were always my fav xx."

While it was on for two hours, there was obviously plenty of past action to feature and discuss so not everyone would have got a look in.

With the show launching in 2006, it would have likely been impossible to feature every performance and contestant.
