Lauren Goodger and Charles Drury's New Year's PDA proves they're stronger than ever

Lauren Goodger and Charles Drury recently rekindled their romance, and if their PDA is anything to go by then they're now stronger than ever.

The couple looked extremely loved up as they celebrated New Year's Eve together last night.

The 35-year-old TOWIE star rang in the New Year with a sweet kiss with Charles, 24, but didn't stop there.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Lauren shared a number of kissing pictures, videos and Boomerangs showing her 787k followers that the couple are happy as ever.

The couple share baby daughter Larose together, who they welcomed in July 2021.

Over one of her affectionate snaps Lauren wrote: "Happy new year love you @charlesdrury1"

Lauren confirmed that they were happily reunited after the pair had quite publicly split in November 2021, when baby Larose was just 4 months old.

The new mum opened up about the "stressful" split, saying that moving home and learning to look after a new baby had an impact on their romance, with Charles feeling "overwhelmed with everything".

Writing in her new! magazine column, Lauren suggested that it had been Charles that wanted to take time away from their relationship as he "had to take five minutes out" but she quickly clarified that the two are "really good now".

She said: "Listen, moving house and having a baby are very stressful things. Having a baby, as well as it being a beautiful and amazing thing, really does test couples.

"For Charlie, it’s a lot of change and I think he was quite overwhelmed with everything. As much as he loves me and Larose, he had to take five minutes out."

The relationship between Charles and Lauren was tested even further when amid the new changes to their life, Larose fell ill and was rushed to hospital with presumed sepsis.

Luckily the little girl didn't have sepsis but she did need medication, Lauren opened up about her relief.

She said: "The tests came back and they said, 'She hasn’t got sepsis, she’s got a fever from an infection.' I was like, 'Phew!' She was on antibiotics and a drip."

A doctor told the new mum not to worry and that there was no need to "panic" with it being "so common" for babies to fall ill - saying that it happens "12 times a year".

Lauren said that by days two and three, Larose was "more herself".

Last week Lauren and Charles made their romance Instagram official again, with the loved up mum insisting that it was "forever".

In a sweet snap of Lauren, Charles and Larose on Instagram, the happy family enjoyed a family stroll in the winter weather.

Charles captioned the sweet snap: "Here with you is where I belong, our love so strong, an unbreakable bond."

With Lauren letting followers know she plans for them to stay together, she commented: "Love our little lady so much and that man there forever".
