Laura Woods savagely trolls man who invited her over while his wife was at work

Laura Woods has brutally hit back at a fan who invited her to his back garden - and it was a reply that has caught the attention of fans on social media.

The TV and radio presenter took to Twitter on Tuesday to ask for holiday tips within the country as she tries to get away in the near future. Woods tweeted: "Hi. Where are the best beaches in Britain? Like very quiet, hidden gem type ones."

Her eagle-eyed followers helped her out with a number of interesting suggestions, such as Great Yarmouth, Saltburn, Pedn Vounder and Worbarrow Bay. However, there were also a couple of less serious replies.

One Twitter user appeared to try his luck with Arsenal fan Woods by inviting her to his house. "Got a kids sand pit in my back garden?? Does this count?? Mrs is at work most days," he wrote.

However, Woods hit back in typical fashion with a quick-whited reply, which said: "That’s what she says…"

It was a comment that has received over 250,000 views and 4,000 likes, with many backing up Woods for how she responded to the fan. One viewer said: "Incredible." Another added: "Haha, Laura is becoming the new @JamesBlunt of Twitter, loving it."

The replies kept flooding in as Woods got more praise from fans. A third said: "Laura wins again 'hands down' Trying their luck and FAILING time and time again. Nice one, love the witty responses. Cheers." A fourth commented: "Lol to be fair tho, it was quite a witty reply. I'm sure @laura_woodsy has had far more smuttier replies than that."

This isn't the first time Woods has shut down a fan after she rejected the chance to go out for dinner with ex-Love Island star Charlie Brake last month. Following the Gunners' 3-1 win over West Ham, Woods took to social media to comment on Ben White's display after he played his first game since leaving the England World Cup camp early.

Woods tweeted: "Ben White is magic," to her 600,000+ followers. In response, 2018 Love Island contestant Brake tried his luck in the comments. Brake responded: "You're magic," complete with a wand emoji.

Woods replied with three laughing emojis and a simple: "Thank you Charlie." But Charlie was not done there, though, as he added: "Dinner?"

However, Woods politely shut down the invite. She said: "I'm not hungry but thank you."

Brake, meanwhile, didn't seem too bothered as he added an extra tweet on Tuesday morning, writing: "If you don’t buy a ticket you don’t win the raffle."

Woods regularly uses brutal responses shut down trolls - as once she aimed a brutal dig at a Tottenham fan after being told that Arsenal had just committed the "biggest collapse of all time" back in May. This was after the Gunners failed to qualified for the Champions League.

After Arsenal's "collapse" was pointed out by a Spurs fan, she said: "It’s not the biggest collapse of all time, Nick and I don’t mind you calling me bias because I am an Arsenal fan. I will say as well, at one point of the season which was months ago, we were saying if Arsenal get top four it’s an overachievement, I stand by exactly what I said then, 100 per cent."
