Laura Whitmore pledged to see the late Caroline Flack on the otherside following the "beautiful send off" for the star.

The former Love Island host was finally laid to rest by her family and friends weeks after the tragedy of the presenter's death shocked the world.

Caroline took her own life aged 40 at her north London flat just weeks before she was due to face trial for common assault.

Laura shared with the world Caroline's private funeral was "beautiful" when she paid tribute to her close celeb friend on Instagram .

The Irish presenter vowed she would see her late pal in the next life and they would enjoy pina coladas together.

Alongside the shining words, Laura posted a picture of the pals from one of her happy memories.

In the snap, a laughing Caroline could be seen gazing at Laura with her arm around her as they posed for the camera.

She wrote: "Beautiful send off yesterday for a life that ended too soon.

"See you on the otherside Flack, have the pina coladas waiting. x" (sic)

The quote read: "Death may indeed be final but the love we share while living is eternal."

Counted as one of Caroline's close celeb friends, Laura was one of the stars among the late star's friends and family at the funeral on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend Iain Stirling has yet to share a tribute to Caroline following the send off.

Laura and Iain stayed longer in South Africa following the Love Island final wrap to heal their broken hearts as they grieved their mutual friend's death.

Now the couple have returned to their lovenest in London with their dog Mick.
