Laura Whitmore shows off her flexibility in swimwear South Africa throwback snap

Laura Whitmore seemed to be missing South Africa a whole lot.

The Love Island host recently jetted back to the UK after the most recent series drew to a close and now she's shared a snap that suggests she's pining for the lush greenery and shining sun.

Kicking back by the pool, Laura looked out onto the hills and a vineyard as the sun beat down on the setting.

She captioned the post with an emoji of a photograph in tribute to the scenery.

Laura's expected to return for the summer version of Love Island, which kicks off later this year.

She was announced for the winter series after Caroline Flack left the role after allegedly assaulting boyfriend Lewis Burton - something they both denied.

Caroline took her own life earlier this month, with the Love Island final paying tribute to the presenter.

A montage was played of Caroline's time on the show, with Laura introducing the tribute: "The past week has been extremely difficult coming to terms with the loss of our friend and colleague Caroline.

"We're thinking of her family and everyone that knew her at this time.

"Caroline loved Love Island. She loved love and that's why tonight's final is dedicated to her."

Earlier that week, the show's narrator Iain Stirling said: "We are all absolutely devastated by the news that Caroline has passed away.

"Our thoughts are with her family and friends at the dreadful time.

"Caroline and me were together from the start of Love Island, and her passion, warmth, and infectious enthusiasm were a crucial part of what made the show connect with millions of viewers.

"Like many of you, right now we're all just trying to come to terms with what has happened.

"My only hope is that we try to be kinder, always show love, always listen to one another.

"Caroline, I want to thank you for all the times we had making this show. You were a true friend to me.

"I'm gonna miss you, Caz."
