Laura Whitmore's socially-distanced dance moves as she jives with a pal in the street

Laura Whitmore has proved she doesn't need a dance floor to show off her moves and she a pal got down in the street.

The Love Island presenter, 35, put on a summer dress and chased away the nighttime chill with a leather jacket as she and a mate got the closest they could to a night on the town.

Keeping their two metre distance, the in-sync pair performed outdoors, in what looked like a London street.

She also took fiance/Love Island colleague Iain Stirling with her.

"All dressed up for some socially distanced dancing," Laura captioned the video, "(Big up to my photographer/videographer during lockdown @iaindoesjokes)."

Laura also shared a few snaps to give fans a closer look at her outfit, which included the yellow and green printed summer dress, heavy black boots, a handbag over her shoulder and shades over her eyes.

Laura had tied her signature blonde locks behind her head, letting two strands fall loose and frame her face.

Love Island's UK edition, which Laura presents and was expected to air over summer this year, had had to be called off amid coronavirus.

Instead, British fans will be treated to the first series of the Aussie version, which aired Down Under back in 2018.

It's fronted by Australian model Sophie Monk, and judging by the initial line-up, we're going to get the usual drama, goss and romance.

But for those eager to see Laura and Iain - who narrates Love Island - back on screens, they can catch the loved up couple on their sofa as they dissect the week's telly on Celebrity Gogglebox.

It's also been rumoured that Laura might be set to take a team captain spot on Celebrity Juice.

Holly Willoughby stepped down from the role after 12 years.

Laura, Michelle Keegan, Scarlett Moffatt and Emily Atack are all names that have been floated to fill Holly's chair.

Whoever takes Holly's place will star across from Keith Lemon and Mel B each week.
