Laura Whitmore has revealed that she was once chased by a mugger who hit her in the face and stole her phone.
The Love Island host, 35, said she was attacked twice in the space of just a few months when she moved to London.
During the first incident, a man on a bike whacked her in the face with his elbow and made off with her mobile.
The second time she was more prepared, and chased the mugger, who again was on a bike, and got her phone back.
Writing in her book No One Can Change Your Life Except For You, Laura said: "When I first moved to London, a guy on a bike whacked my face with his elbow and snatched my phone.

"I felt so vulnerable; not to mention being phoneless in a big city I'd just moved to, which made me feel even more helpless."
Just a few months later, the same thing happened again.
Laura added: "A few months later, I was on the phone (a new one) as I came out of King's Cross train station.

"I could hear the wheels of a bicycle behind me. A guy reached out and grabbed my phone.
"I screamed: 'Not f***ing today, pal.' .
"I ran after him for what felt like minutes but was probably only seconds and grabbed the phone back to his utter surprise."

Laura said her bravery was inspired by her mum, who she revealed once fought off a mugger who tried to snatch her handbag.
The TV star is expecting her first child with her husband Iain Stirling.
Their baby is thought to be due in the coming weeks.

The couple married in a low-key ceremony back in November, which they didn't announce until the news leaked a month later.
Just days after they confirmed their wedding, Laura and Iain shared the news that they're going to become parents.
Later they revealed they are expecting a baby girl.
