Love Island host and voiceover, Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling, have enjoyed a romantic South African safari as they unwind after a 'difficult series'.
The pair have been a couple for years and were brought together on Love Island after Caroline Flack stepped down before the first winter series began.
The series was subsequently overshadowed by the tragic death of Caroline, who took her own life on February 15, which was the day she heard from the CPS that they would be taking her to court for an alleged assault on her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
With emotions running high during the Love Island final, Iain and Laura decided to take some time for themselves as they get to grips with the passing of their close friend.
Laura, 34, posted a loved up pic of her with Iain, 32, as she celebrated reaching one million followers on Instagram.
Pointing at a lion in the background, Laura captioned the pic: "1 million followers! Thank you. I promise to use this space to talk about real issues, promote positivity... and post pictures of me wearing clothes I like - because well, it is Instagram.
"In other news, South Africa is beautiful. Thank you for your hospitality during my stay️"
Laura and Iain have been roundly praised for the sensitive way they handled the passing of Caroline on screen.
There were happier times after Paige Turley and Finley Tapp were crowned the winners of the first winter edition of the ITV2 dating show.
Laura and Iain posted pics of them letting their hair down at the wrap party, posing with the winners and other finalists in the process.
Finn and Paige were lauded by Laura in an Insta post, as she was snapped alongside them. She captioned the pic: "Verified Your Love Islander Winners and finalists!! Their warmth, kindness and smiley faces helped me more than they’ll ever know️ #loveisland"
Comedian Iain was full of jokes as he first posted a pic of the winning couple with him and Laura, captioning it: "I'm the fittest person in this photo. Well done to Finn and Paige - your #loveisland champions!"
Laura responded to the cheeky message by commenting: "Have we just swapped partners?"
At the end of the South African series, Laura announced that Love Island would once again return in the summer.
