Laura Whitmore and Iain Sterling have enjoyed a whirlwind year where their careers and personal lives have thrived.
It will be a happy end to 2020 for the lovebirds, with Laura this month announcing that she’s expecting her first child with Iain.
Not only that, but the Love Island stars, who recently tied the knot in a secret Dublin ceremony, are now worth almost £2 million after they raked in a million pounds last year.
According to The Sun, the TV power couple banked a whopping £1.9m in company profits alone this year.
Iain, who is the voice of Love Island, owns Iain Stirling Limited, and his earnings for 2019 have been reported in new accounts.
Meanwhile, his wife’s earnings are reported in financial statements for her company Yer Wan.
The reports state the comedian earned £540,245 in annual profit in 2019 - to double the net worth of the business from £426,824 in 2018 to £967,069 last year.
Both Iain and Laura kickstarted their respective companies in 2011.
Laura’s brand Yer Wan had a net worth of £855,526 in 2019 - including £165,362 in profit last year.
The combined net worth of their companies means Iain and Laura’s corporate joint worth comes close to £2m.
Laura and Iain, 32, tied the knot in secret last month in an intimate Irish ceremony.
According to their marriage certificate, Laura and Iain wed in a humanist ceremony at Dublin's City hall on November 11.
The couple has been together since 2017 after meeting the year before.
