Laura Marling has unveiled the first track from her next album. Short Movie will be released on 23 March, and you can hear the title track below. The album, which she produced herself with Matt Ingram and Dan Cox, will be Marling’s fifth album in seven years, and comes from her attempts to change her routines after a period of reflection.
“I realised that I hadn’t been in a place for longer than two or three weeks since I was 16,” she said. “I thought: ‘I wonder what will happen if I try and root myself somewhere [and] look back over the past eight years.’”
