Video footage has emerged which appeared to show a man running straight into a flooded sink hole in Old Swan.
The large cavity appeared last night ( Friday) at the junction of Green Lane and Prescot Road.
A video has now emerged which shows a man running straight through the cordon and into the hole.

At one point the man disappears from view as he was submerged in the dirty water inside the hole.
The man's misadventure was met with laughter from bystanders, and his friends.
The man who filmed the incident could be heard saying: "It's right lad, its right bro."
The man who fell into the hole did not appear to be injured.
The sink hole is now at the centre of a major incident in Old Swan today, with engineers at the scene.
The fire service has said a ruptured water main is the suspected cause of the large hole, subsequent flooding and loss of water and power to nearby homes.
The fire service said in an earlier statement: “The incident has generated running water which is affecting the junction of Prescot Road 500 metres west and Green Lane 100 metres north.
“Road closures are in place and several properties in the area are being affected.
“The suspected cause is a ruptured water main but this is not yet confirmed.
“Crews are working to restrict the flow of water and utilities companies are in attendance.”
