Laughing woman hurls kitten against wall 'in front of kid' in sick Snapchat video

Shocking video has emerged showing a giggling woman hurl a kitten against a wall - with what appears to be a young child watching on.

The unnamed female is filmed lying on a bed stroking the tiny animal on her lap before cruelly tossing it in the air.

The kitten somersaults at least twice as it flies across the room before hitting the wall and landing on the floor.

The person behind the camera can also be heard chuckling as the revolting incident unfolds.

The clip, which is believed to have been filmed in Preston, Lancashire, was uploaded on Sunday by Megan Smith.

She wrote: "I gave her my kitten seeing as she wanted one so much for her son. I thought it was going to a 'loving, family home' and this is what she does?

"Laughing and posting it on Snapchat, whilst her son's sat in the room with her, and blaming it on being drunk is no excuse at all!

"My cat is in pieces, she's terrified and almost died all because you're an immature little f***."

In an updated post, Megan added: "The kitten is luckily fine now and back in my care. The RSPCA and police have all been informed."

Dave Taylor responded online: "I don't particularly even like cats, but that's just wrong..... Horrible b****."

Daniel Smale said: "Human trash, I hope she gets thrown."

Milo Green raged: "Would love to throw her in the air laughing, see if she finds it funny."

And Samantha Jane said: "This girl needs locking up. I've never seen anything so cruel in my life."

Some viewers praised Megan for exposing the cruelty and reclaiming care of the kitten.

Raymond Daniel said: "Well done for getting the cat back and sharing it. You'll help stop places like pets at home selling animals to this girl. She's lucky this was a cat, not a small dog or a rabbit. Either way she 'could' have killed the poor thing."

A woman who claims to be the sister of the woman throwing the cat revealed in comments that she reported the incident to authorities herself.

She said: "I now have nothing to do with my sister because of this and I personally have called RSPCA and Social Services on my sister and she will not be getting away with what she has done."

Lancashire Police and the RSPCA have been contacted for a comment.
