Plenty of Liverpool fans are making the same point about Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah.
Kane was involved in a controversial penalty incident during Tottenham’s win over Aston Villa, where a spot-kick was awarded.
Referee Mike Dean pointed to the spot for an apparent foul by Matty Cash on Kane, but many Liverpool fans are not happy with the decision.
When it comes to Salah, rightly or wrongly, he has often been the subject of criticism in some quarters of the media for diving during his time at Anfield.
Liverpool fans referenced the criticism of Salah compared to that of Kane, and took to social media to make their point.
Speaking on commentary during the game yesterday, Gary Neville described the actions of Kane as "cute".
He said: "Well he's miscontrolled it and the ball's gone out of play. It's Cash's reckless slide that is going to cost him. He makes a mess of it Harry Kane, he's looking for the fact that Cash slides in. In the end it's cute from Kane - some won't like it."
