This time of year we are usually reluctantly pulling our coats back on bracing ourselves for the chill - but now there's talk of a heatwave.
The Met Office is reporting milder weather over the next few days and into the weekend.
But what does is spell for Glasgow?
It will be warmer here in the city with highs of 21C on Saturday, which is well above average for this time of year. In fact, it's down right taps aff appropriate!
It's all down to a Spanish plume bringing warm weather our way and spreading through the UK.
Come Sunday, temperatures will dip back down. But with high of 18C predicted to hang around from Sunday until Tuesday we can't complain!
There's also a 60% chance of rain on Sunday, but can we at least just enjoy 21C on the Saturday, weather permitting.
Maybe we won't be needing those winter coats after all...
