The latest update on Southport Pier has been released after a lorry hit the popular tourist attraction.
Southport Pier has been partially shut since last week when a lorry damaged the underside of the pier on Tuesday September 7.
Marine Drive has also been subject to disruption, with part of the busy coastal road remaining shut whilst work continues to restore the pier.

A Sefton Council spokesperson said: “Following an inspection on Monday, September 13, repair and restoration works will continue to take place on the underside of Southport Pier.
“This means Marine Drive will remain closed until works are completed. While we apologise for any delays these essential works may cause, the safety of our pedestrians and road users remains paramount.”
Following the crash last week, it was reported that the driver left the scene before being traced by Merseyside Police officers.
A police spokeswoman said at the time of the crash: "The vehicle is believed to have left the area following the incident. The driver has since been traced and is in the process of being spoken to by officers.
"There are no reports of anyone being injured and structural engineers are en route to establish if any damage has been caused.
"There are road closures in place and motorists are advised to avoid the surrounding area.
"Enquiries into the collision are ongoing."
