Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Spurs target asks to leave club, Man United eye deal

There are now less than four weeks left in the transfer window - and Tottenham are expected to still be busy over the next month.

Spurs have already signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.

As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours.

Malcom

Barcelona will reportedly demand €60m from any side hoping to sign Malcom this summer.

According to Marca, Barca chiefs won’t allow Malcom to go cheaply this summer, despite the Brazilian’s lack of game time, and the arrival of Antoine Griezmann this summer.

Malcom’s agent met with Barca representatives on Tuesday to discuss his future, but the player has made no request to leave the club, despite reported interest from Arsenal, Spurs and Everton this summer.

Barcelona are also reportedly interested in re-signing Neymar this summer, which would mean they would need to sell one of their other three non-EU players - Malcom, Arthur or Arturo Vidal.

Despite all of this, Barca will be asking for at least €60m this summer for Malcom, given their need to raise cash from sales - which could reportedly price him out of a move.

Giovani Lo Celso

According to ABC de Sevilla, the midfielder has asked to leave the club and has come to a verbal agreement that he will be allowed to leave if a bid is received worth around €75m.

Lo Celso is happy at Betis and in Seville, but reportedly wants to advance his career by regularly playing in the Champions League - something that Betis cannot offer after finishing 10th last season in La Liga.

The Argentina international has apparently made it clear to his club that he will not go AWOL or try to force a move from Betis, but is hopeful of moving on this season.

Nicolo Zaniolo

The Roma youngster is one of the outstanding talents in Serie A, and has been linked with a move to Spurs for some time.

However, Calciomercato report that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified the attacking midfielder as an ideal target, and are hoping a £25m bid will be enough to open negotiations.

William Saliba

A deal is close to completion, according to the BBC, after the 18-year-old opted to join the Gunners.

Arsenal are also said to be working on a loan move for Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid, and continuing their pursuit of Kieran Tierney.

Christian Eriksen

Atletico Madrid have completed a deal to sign Kieran Trippier from Tottenham, but he is not the only member of Mauricio Pochettino’s side in their sights.

The Evening Standard report their search for a playmaker in midfield has seen them become interested in Christian Eriksen, who has also been linked to Real Madrid this summer.

Denmark international Eriksen admitted earlier this summer he is attracted to a new challenge and he has just one-year remaining on his contract.

According to Marca, Manchester United’s asking price of €200m for Paul Pogba could mean Zinedine Zidane’s side focus their efforts on Eriksen.

Ryan Sessegnon

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham remain ‘committed’ to the signing of Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.

Spurs see the England under-21 international as Danny Rose’s long term replacement, and Sessegnon is understood to favour a move to north London.
