The summer transfer window is officially open for Premier League sides and Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to do some business for the first time since January 2018.
Whilst all attention is on the Champions League final against Liverpool, Spurs are still in the market as they look set to make a number of moves this summer to rebuild the squad for Mauricio Pochettino and strengthen ahead of their first full season in their new stadium.
Here is a look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding Tottenham ahead of what is sure to be a busy summer.
Giovani Lo Celso
Tottenham are to step up their attempts to land the £60million-rated Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso in what would represent a stunning statement of intent.
The 23-year-old Argentinian is understood to be interested in working with his compatriot, Mauricio Pochettino.
The Spurs boss is also a big admirer of the Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. Pochettino already has strong competition, however, from a number of top European clubs.
But according to the Mirror, Lo Celso is the player for whom Spurs are locked in negotiations. A bid of £53million has already been rejected for the rising star who netted 16 goals this season and provided six assists in his 45 appearances.
Betis, who exercised an option to make his loan from PSG permanent for just £20million, now want his £88million release clause met.
James Maddison
The Mirror are reporting that James Maddison is a target for Tottenham this summer.
Spurs are set to pocket a windfall from their Champions League run and the Leicester City star is on the radar.
Maddison enjoyed an impressive first season with the Foxes after moving from Norwich City last summer.
The playmaker earned his first senior England call-up, after scoring seven goals and bagging seven assists for Leicester in the Premier League.
Tottenham are just one of the sides interested in the England under-21 international and the race could be on for his signature.
However, Brendan Rodgers' side paid Norwich £22.5million for the former Coventry starlet last summer would want substantially more before they would even consider selling him.
Adrien Rabiot
Potentially another blow for Spurs as Arsenal are reportedly still interested in signing Adrien Rabiot this summer from Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international has endured a difficult season at the Parc des Princes, falling out of favour with head coach Thomas Tuchel and becoming embroiled in spats over the club’s hierarchy.
And according to Paris United, the Gunners remain keen on a deal for the midfielder, with Unai Emery eyeing a reunion with the player he worked with in the French capital.
Rabiot has also been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid previously, amongst others.
