Tottenham Hotspur are less than two weeks away from kicking off their new season.
Spurs will be hoping to get back into the top four having settled for Europa League qualification last term.
But to do that, they will likely have to make good use of the summer transfer window.
And below we take you through the latest rumours and gossip surrounding Jose Mourinho’s side.
Cabral interest
Tottenham have made an approach to sign Sporting Lisbon forward Jovane Cabral.
Cabral scored six goals and assisted two others in 16 league games for Lisbon last season and has been linked with a host of clubs.
The report from Sportslens claims Spurs have been in contact with Sporting to register their interest in Cabral, but are yet to make an official bid.
Muriqi race hotting up
Spurs' reported pursuit of Vedat Muriqi is heating up.
According to Sky Sports Italia, the Fenerbahce forward is now being chased by Fiorentina, who join Spurs and Lazio in expressing an interest.
The Fenerbahce striker is expected to move to a 'bigger league' this summer after netting 17 times last season.
Spurs could offer him that opportunity, but Fenerbahce are now hoping for a bidding war, wanting up to €20m.
New Lloris contract
Tottenham have opened preliminary talks with Hugo Lloris over a new contract.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider that discussions are underway with Lloris over a deal that would see him play the rest of his career at the club.
The French World Cup winner has two years left on his current deal but Spurs are hoping he will commit his future to the club.
