Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Spurs eye Harry Kane competition, Serge Aurier interest

Tottenham face a gruelling start to the 2020/21 season, with involvement in the Europa League qualifying and the Carabao Cup schedule leading to a mountain of fixtures.

Jose Mourinho's lack of squad depth was exposed at stages last season. both in attack and defence, raising the need for transfer activity.

Spurs have already moved to capture Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Premier League rivals Southampton and a host of other names have been linked with a move, as well as some departures.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the club.

Spurs eye Quaison deal

Tottenham are interested in signing Mainz striker Robin Quaison according to reports.

The Swedish striker scored 13 goals for the Bundesliga outfit last season.

Bild report that Spurs have registered an interest in the 26-year-old to provide competition for Harry Kane up front.

Quaison has entered the final year of his current deal at Mainz and they're yet to tie him down to fresh terms.

Aurier negotiations

AC Milan are pressing on with plans to sign Serge Aurier from Tottenham.

The Ivorian is Spurs' only recognised right-back in an area Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen this summer.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, the Italian side are keen on Aurier but wants to reduce Tottenham's £22million asking price.

The report states Milan are hoping to ' snatch him on better terms’ , although that seems unlikely given Daniel Levy's negotiation style.

Reguillon fee revealed

Real Madrid is demanding a transfer fee of €25 million (£22.59 million) for defender Sergio Reguilon.

The Spaniard looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer despite a successful loan spell with Sevilla.

Chelsea and Tottenham have been linked with Reguillon and AS claim it will cost £23million for his signature.

Spurs could add a new left-back should Danny Rose depart permanently and Ryan Sessegnon head out on loan.
