Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Southampton's Danny Ings stance, PSG eye Dele Alli

The first week of Tottenham's season hasn't quite gone to plan for Jose Mourinho, following a defeat to Newcastle United and then an unconvincing win in the Europa League's qualifiers.

Spurs have been active in the market so far this summer, landing Matt Doherty, Joe Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, but the biggest additions are to follow in the form of Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon.

That won't bring the end to the transfer drama though as Mourinho continues to look for recruits that can provide a significant boost.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Spurs.

Southampton's Danny Ings stance

Southampton have told Tottenham that Danny Ings is not for sale at any price following an enquiry from the north London side, the Mail reports.

Jose Mourinho is in the market for a striker to provide depth beyond Harry Kane and Ings had been identified as an ideal recruit.

However, Southampton have made it clear that they will not sell Ings for any price and are hoping to tie the 28-year-old down to a new contract.

Ings scored 25 times last season, including 22 in the Premier League to fall just one short of a share of the Premier League golden boot.

PSG eye Dele Alli

Paris Saint-Germain hold an interest in Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli and there is a growing chance he could leave the club, reports from the Mail state.

It's claimed that there is a growing understanding from all parties that moving elsewhere could be the best solution for the long-term.

Inter Milan are also said to be tracking the situation but Spurs would prefer not to sell this summer, as Alli's value will have dipped due to the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Tottenham would also prefer to loan Alli to an overseas club so as not to strengthen a domestic rival.

Jovic keen to leave Real Madrid

Serbian forward Luka Jovic is keen to leave Real Madrid before next month's transfer window, Marca reports.

Jovic has struggled to cement regular first-team football at the Santiago Bernabeu and is considering his options for the forthcoming season.

Spurs have previously been attributed with an interest in the 22-year-old and he could be an option in the hunt for a new striker.

AC Milan and Hertha Berlin are both mentioned as being keen on a loan move for the forward.
