A place in Europe is still on the cards for Tottenham Hotspur as the Premier League season nears its conclusion.
Jose Mourinho’s side are seventh in the table – which could be enough to qualify for the Europa League - heading into their penultimate game against Leicester City on Sunday.
And that could have a big effect on their plans in the transfer market this summer, with the Portuguese looking to bolster his squad after a disappointing campaign.
Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from North London.
Pochettino on Inter and Juve shortlists
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is on the shortlist of both Inter Milan and Juventus should either club sack their manager at the end of the season.
The Argentine has been out of work since being sacked back in November, but has been linked with a number of jobs over the past few months.
And according to the Telegraph, Italy could be his next destination, with two former Chelsea managers reportedly in danger.
Maurizio Sarri is on course to win Serie A with Juve, but has been accused of not getting the best out of his players, while Antonio Conte could be in trouble after spending big on his side.
Demarai Gray targeted
Tottenham have set their sights on Leicester City winger Demarai Gray as they plan for the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old is thought to be joining Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is expected to make the move to North London from Southampton.
The midfielder has been linked to Spurs for some time now, and came close to securing a move back in January.
Gray has also now been linked by The Times, with the winger finding appearances hard to come by at the King Power Stadium.
Race for Diego Carlos
Spurs are in the race to sign Sevilla defender Diego Carlos, but will face stiff competition from Manchester City.
The Brazilian has impressed during his first season in La Liga, catching the eye of a number of leading European clubs including Tottenham and City.
Having failed to replace Vincent Kompany last summer, Pep Guardiola could look to the Carlos as an alternative should he be unable to land Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the Telegraph.
That could scupper Spurs’ hopes of landing the 27-year-old, who made the move to Sevilla from Nantes for just £13.6million last year.
