Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Ryan Sessegnon claim, Alexander Sorloth twist, exit for trio

Tottenham picked up their first win of the new Premier League season on Sunday, in a thrilling 5-2 victory over Southampton.

Son Heung-min scored four times for Spurs - who were much-improved in the second half of the game, with Harry Kane netting the other.

New signings Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon weren’t quite ready for the match down on the south coast.

It also appears that Spurs might not be done in this transfer window just yet, with two weeks remaining, as Jose Mourinho still chases another striker - with that being said, here are the very latest Tottenham-related transfer stories.

Mourinho: Dele doesn't need to be sacrificed

Sessegnon tipped to leave on permanent deal

Danny Mills believes a permanent move away from Tottenham for Ryan Sessegnon could be good for all parties.

The 20-year-old has been rumoured to leave Spurs on loan after the club announced the signing of fellow full-back Reguilon recently.

However, Mills thinks a permanent move away from north London for Sessegnon could benefit him even more.

The former Manchester City full-back told Football Insider: “I wouldn’t be surprised if definitely a loan deal happened or if Spurs can do a permanent deal to get him out before the window shuts. That could be good for all parties.”

Sorloth move to Leipzig cancelled

Tottenham target Alexander Sorloth was set to move to RB Leipzig - and Spurs had seemingly given up all hope - but there’s a fresh twist.

German outlet SportBuzzer (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Sorloth’s medical at the Bundesliga club has now been cancelled, and whilst they can’t provide any information, a Turkish publication can.

Turkish outlet Asist Analiz claim that an offer from a 'very big English club' has been made for the striker, who has now been 'told to wait'.

They later elaborated a bit further and said that Sorloth would either be moving to Manchester United or Spurs following the deal’s collapse.

Spurs trio could leave before deadline

Tottenham trio Sessegnon, Juan Foyth and Serge Aurier could all leave the club before the transfer deadline in two weeks’ time.

That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that Russian side Spartak Moscow have made enquiries about Aurier, and are now increasingly confident over completing a deal for the Ivory Coast defender.

Sessegnon has been linked with Ajax and Celtic, among other clubs, as he has fallen further down the pecking order under Mourinho.

As for Foyth, Spanish side Villarreal have made him their priority defensive signing, according to AS - with Leeds United and Fulham also keen on the Argentine.
