Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Robin Koch boost, Atletico Madrid competition for midfielder

Tottenham's campaign for 2019/20 is coming to an end and there is plenty of work for Jose Mourinho to undertake during the coming months.

Spurs have failed to qualify for the Champions League next season and face a stern battle to return to the top-four amid a wealth of competition for that honour.

Jose Mourinho is expected to shuffle his deck this summer, with both incoming and outgoing deals, and there is already a number of links floating about.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest rumours surrounding Spurs.

Mourinho admits Spurs in 'hands of others' in battle for European qualification

Robin Koch boost

Tottenham have been handed a boost in the hunt for defender Robin Koch as the player is ready to leave Freiburg this summer, Kicker states.

The German was heavily linked with a move to RB Leipzig in January and while that deal did not materialise, with the club now not in the market for his services, Koch still has a number of suitors.

The 24-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with Freiburg and will not sign a new deal, meaning he will leave on a free transfer next year if a transfer does not occur.

Tottenham face competition in the market for Koch's services though as both Benfica and AC Milan have been attributed with an interest.

Battle with Atletico Madrid for midfielder

Tottenham are set to go toe-to-toe in the transfer market with Atletico Madrid for the services of Schalke midfielder Can Bogazdan, Mundo Deportivo reports.

The 19-year-old has been recognised as one of the finest young players in the Bundesliga and the Germany U18 international could be in the midst of a fight for his signature this summer.

Atletico Madrid have expressed their interest in the teenager over the course of recent days but the report now states that Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is ready to compete for his services.

A multi-million offer could be presented to Schalke this summer, which the German side could find difficult to turn down due to the current economic climate.

QPR eye permanent Amos deal

Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers are eyeing a permanent deal for Luke Amos following his successful loan stint at Loftus Road, West London Sport states.

Rangers boss Mark Warburton has been impressed by the midfielder's performances during his season-long stint with the club and is keen on bringing him back for next season.

The 23-year-old struggled for fitness during his spell with QPR but did enough to catch the eye, with the club open to another loan deal if a permanent agreement cannot be reached.

QPR and Spurs have a close working relationship, with Jack Clarke spending the second half of the campaign with the club.
