There are now less than four weeks left in the transfer window - and Tottenham are expected to still be busy over the next month.
Spurs have already signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.
As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours.
Dani Ceballos
Dani Ceballos reportedly wants a move to Spurs completed before he is due to report for pre-season training at Real Madrid next week.
The 23-year-old is on an extended break following his participation in the European Under-21 Championship this summer, and is due to join up with the Real Madrid first team on July 22nd.

According to AS via Sport Witness, Ceballos wants his future sorted before that point, because he does not want to join Real Madrid’s pre-season tour in the USA. The midfielder is expected to be allowed to leave on loan with an option to buy, as he still has faith in his long-term future at the Bernabeu
Mauricio Pochettino has apparently spoken to Ceballos to sell him on Spurs, and the player is positive about the prospect of moving to north London.
William Saliba
Arsenal have reportedly reacted to Spurs’ advantage in the race to sign William Saliba by matching their rivals’ bid for the defender.
Saint-Etienne are reportedly asking for north of €30m for the centre-back, and to take him back on loan for the 2019/20 season. Arsenal have been keen on the defender for a while now, are were previously expected to sign him.
However, Spurs have stolen in to make a more lucrative offer for the 18-year-old, worth €30m plus bonuses. However, according to RMC, the Gunners have matched Spurs’ offer.
Saint-Etienne will now reportedly take a break in proceedings for two reasons. The first is to see which team Saliba would prefer to join, and the second reason will be to see if they can push the price up.
Junior Firpo
Tottenham are keeping tabs on Real Betis defender Junior Firpo, according to reports in Spain.
The 22-year-old impressed in La Liga last season and is now courting interest from around Europe.
It’s said that a €30m offer could get a deal done but there are also reports suggesting that Firpo would like to remain in Spain.
Toby Alderweireld
Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy is known as a tough negotiator and Roma have been the latest to witness this first hand.
The Serie A club were hopeful of landing defender Toby Alderweireld from Spurs this summer for less than the reported £25m price tag.
Reports in Italy say that Franco Baldini was sent off to London to 'use his old connections' to arrange a deal for significantly less than the aforementioned figure.
However, Roma were offered a 'sharp refusal' from Spurs as Levy 'didn't move an inch'. It’s said that Spurs have 'clarified' the situation to Roma.
Spurs are now looking into a swap deal with Roma which could include Nicolo Zaniolo coming to the Premier League.
Dani Alves
According to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal are all battling to sign Dani Alves.
The Brazilian right-back is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, and the report claims Unai Emery has asked Arsenal to make an offer to Alves, while Tottenham have already been in contact with the Brazilian’s team.
Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United are set to make a £50m bid for Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
According to the Independent, United feel they can still get a deal done for the 24-year-old with just three weeks remaining in the summer transfer window.
The deal is apparently not dependent on Paul Pogba’s future, and Fernandes is said to be keen on the move. United have already had approaches rebuffed, but are confident that a deal can be agreed for around the £50m mark.
Spurs have also been linked with a move for Fernandes.
