Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Ndombele to Bayern Munich £63m Zaniolo deal, Rose update

This summer is set to be a massive transfer window for Jose Mourinho and his Tottenham squad.

It’s been a largely underwhelming season for Spurs - although they came from behind to beat their fierce rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

But nevertheless, Jose Mourinho has faced a tough task during his first season in charge in north London and unsurprisingly, there are plenty of Spurs-related transfer rumours.

With that being said, here are the best Tottenham transfer rumours from today.

Bayern target Ndombele

Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is a target for German giants Bayern Munich, according to Le10Sport.

Ndombele became Spurs’ record-signing when he signed for £53.8m from French side Lyon last summer.

However, the French midfielder has failed to cement himself in Spurs’ team during his first season at the club.

The report states that Bayern have expressed an interest in Ndombele, and would prefer a loan deal, but Spurs want some of the money they paid for the 23-year-old.

Spurs linked with Zaniolo

Tottenham are interested in signing Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer, according to La Repubblica, via Sports Lens.

Spurs are “long-term admirers” of Zaniolo, but the Italian side want around £63 million for the attacking midfielder.

The 21-year-old has impressed for Roma this season in the Serie A - scoring five goals and providing one assist in 21 appearances.

With Ndombele linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the sell could help to fund any deal for Zaniolo.

Bruce hints at permanent Rose deal

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has hinted at the club signing on-loan defender Danny Rose on a permanent deal from Tottenham.

Rose joined the Magpies on a loan deal in January and Bruce has spoken about the player’s progress at St. James’ Park.

Bruce said: “I still think we have not seen the best of him and I still think there’s more to come from Danny.

“What we have to be respectful about is he’s one of Tottenham’s players. Let’s see where it takes us, we will have those conversations.”
