Tottenham are just a few weeks away from beginning their new Premier League campaign and Jose Mourinho remains busy in the transfer market.
Spurs have already captured Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton and have landed Joe Hart on a free transfer following his release from Burnley.
A host of names continue to be linked with a move to north London and there is plenty of time let to do deals, with the window not closing until October 5.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Spurs.
Ndombele and Skriniar swap deal
Inter Milan have made Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele their top target for the transfer window and remain willing to offer Milan Skriniar in return.
Tuttosport via Sempre Inter states the only way that the Serie A side can sign the France international is by offering Skriniar as a makeweight in a deal.
Skriniar's standing in the squad has decreased under Antonio Conte, although the former Chelsea boss' stability in the role has decreased following defeat in the Europa League final to Sevilla.
Inter are targeting a hefty rebuild this summer though, which includes targeting new midfielders and striking options.
'No chance' to sign Allan
Tottenham have been told by Napoli that they have 'no chance' of signing Allan as the midfielder closes in on a move to Everton, journalist Ciro Venerato has told Calcio Napoli 24 Live.
Carlo Ancelotti is closing in on a reunion with Allan by bringing him to Goodison Park, with Spurs among a trio of club being told their chances of a deal are over.
“In the first ten days of September, Allan will become an Everton player: it is on the player’s contract, we are at €3.5m euros plus half a million linked to bonuses. It is an operation that will be done, details on bonuses and commissions are filed.
“I get word that Napoli has already communicated to Tottenham, Atlético Madrid and West Ham that the player will go to Everton.”
Newcastle rival Spurs for Maripan
Newcastle United will compete with Tottenham in the market for Monaco defender Guillermo Maripan, according to Chilean outlet CDF.

The Chilean outlet only moved to the Ligue 1 side last summer from Deportivo Alaves, costing £16m, but Monaco are struggling financially and could offload players to raise funds.
Spurs have reportedly been targeting the 26-year-old for a while, with Monaco looking to sell the defender, but they may face competition in the market.
Newcastle are also said to be interested in landing the South American and could rival Spurs with a move for the central defender.
