Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Mourinho snubs Coutinho deal and Hojbjerg boost received

While we await the resumption of this season, Jose Mourinho has plenty to address at Tottenham.

Spurs will be hoping to strengthen their squad ahead of next season after what has been a disappointing season so far, sitting eighth in the Premier League table.

With that in mind, here are the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Mourinho doesn't want Coutinho

Tottenham will not be signing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho this summer.

That's according to Mundo Deportivo , who say Spurs boss Mourinho is against paying £100m for the former Liverpool star.

The report also claims Coutinho was offered out to clubs for loan, but with the loan fee reportedly at £10m, Mourinho is not keen.

Spurs handed boost

Tottenham have received a boost in their reported bid to land Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, who signed a new contract on Wednesday, has suggested the Dane could be sold this summer.

“It’s not good for him and I don’t think the situation would be good for him,” he BBC Radio Solent.

“As a captain, you cannot lead a team without extending your contract. This is always difficult.

“We must look at what we have. I think we should avoid letting players go without a transfer fee. This is what we should avoid.

“It’s not good to go into the last year of your contract – especially as a young player with a big future.

“This is not the ideal situation, but we have opportunities to handle it and we will have talks with other players and find a decision.”

Wolves star's price revealed

Spurs have been linked with a move for Wolves star Raul Jiminez in recent weeks, and the striker's price tag may now have been revealed.

The Mexican has been a hit since joining on loan from Benfica in 2018 and then permanently last year.

And amid links with Tottenham and Juventus, his price tag may now have been revealed.

According to Radio Bianconera, Jiminez could cost as little as €20m this summer.

Though, Wolves are desperate to keep their star frontman with reports they could offer him a bumper new deal.
