Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Mourinho eyes Bournemouth striker, Ajax want Sessegnon

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a host of names as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first full season in charge of the north London side.

Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino, following the Argentine’s sacking in November, and guided Spurs to a sixth-place finish.

Unsurprisingly, Spurs are rumoured to be considering a number of players, as they look to break back into the Champions League places.

With that being said, here are the very latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

'No-brainer' - Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest on Callum Wilson links

Mourinho turns attention to Wilson

Tottenham boss Mourinho has turned his attention to Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson, according to a report in the Star, via the Express.

Spurs are looking to add another striker to play back-up to their main man, Harry Kane, and Wilson has been identified as that player.

Bournemouth have just suffered relegation to the Championship, and unsurprisingly, their star players are being linked with moves away from the Vitality Stadium.

The report states that Spurs are the favourites to land the 28-year-old, but West Ham United and Newcastle United are also keen.

Ajax eye loan move for Sessegnon

Ajax are interested in signing Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon on a loan deal, according to a report in the Guardian.

The report states that the Dutch champions are in the market for attacking players and they “admire” the 20-year-old, and would be interested if Spurs were to make him available for a temporary switch to Holland.

Sessegnon has made just 12 appearances for Spurs and it could be beneficial to loan him out elsewhere for him to play valuable first-team football.

Fulham also hold an interest in re-signing Sessegnon, following their promotion back to the Premier League earlier in the week.

Spurs keeping tabs on Barisic

Tottenham are “keeping tabs” on Rangers left-back Borna Barisic, according to 90Min, via Sports Lens.

Leeds United are also thought to be plotting a move for the Croatian international after an impressive season at Ibrox.

However, Mourinho’s side have also been alerted about Barisic and will look to bring him to north London in the summer, the report claims.

Rangers value Barisic at £22m, after bringing him in for just £2.2m from NK Osijek back in 2018.
