Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Midfielder jets into London for Spurs transfer talks

There are now less than four weeks left in the transfer window - and Tottenham are expected to still be busy over the next month.

Spurs have already signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.

As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours.

Fernando Llorente

Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes that his old side to re-sign Fernando Llorente.

The forward filled in for Harry Kane last season due to the latter’s injury but was released when he contract ran out.

Reports suggest, however, that Spurs want to bring Llorente back on reduced terms.

Bent told Football Insider: "I guess from a positive standpoint they know he knows the club, understands the club and they’re not really taking a risk if they can bring him back on less money. To be fair who else is out there?

"Llorente last season, he came in and scored important goals at important times. You need to think of yourself rather than going and shelling out £20-30m on an unknown. If they can get Llorente to stay there on reduced money, I’m all for it.

"If they can keep Llorente and bring him back, I think that’s a good bit of business."

Joao Felix

Atletico Madrid forward Joao Félix was asked in a Q&A yesterday if he would consider a future move to Tottenham.

The 19-year-old attacker completed a move to the La Liga club from Benfica earlier this summer after Atletico lodged a bid that exceeded the player’s €120million release clause.

As reported Bleacher Report, the striker said: "Me, to Spurs?” [Right] now that is impossible, but I do not know, one day."

Giovani Lo Celso

According to Mucho Deporte, Giovani Lo Celso is expected to arrive in London over the coming days as Tottenham look to accelerate moves for him and Paulo Dybala.

Having already sealed moves for Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele, Mauricio Pochettino's men have been linked with others, namely the Real Betis attacking midfielder.
