Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Meunier a key target, Bale swap deal, Kondogbia boost

Here are the very latest Tottenham Hotspur transfer rumours for Saturday, April 11.

Meunier a 'primary target'

Tottenham have identified out-of-contract Paris Saint-Germain right-back as a key target ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report by 90 Min.

The Belgium international has been on the French club's books since 2016, signing a four-year deal, which is due to expire this summer, and he is not expected to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Given that the 27-year-old has been a regular performer for PSG in recent seasons, it comes as no great surprise that a plethora of clubs are keen on signing him this summer.

Spurs behind the scenes on transfers, Mourinho's training session and Levy backlash

However, the report claims that Spurs are planning a 'big push' to get a deal done, with head coach Jose Mourinho looking to bolster his squad in a host of different areas.

Spurs handed Kondogbia boost

The Evening Standard is reporting that Spurs' hopes of signing Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia this summer have been handed a lift.

The 27-year-old, who is renowned for being a tough-tackling midfielder, could leave the Spanish club for as little as €30million this summer, despite having a release clause of €80million.

That is because if Valencia fail to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League he could leave for significantly less.

It is claimed that Spurs will go in with an offer of around €40million for the Central African Republic international this summer.

Madrid willing to offer Bale swap for Kane

Tottenham could be handed the opportunity to re-sign Wales international Gareth Bale - but it would come at the expense of losing star striker Harry Kane.

A report by the Express claims that Spurs could be set to lose Kane to Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants having been made aware of Kane's admission about him being willing to leave Spurs if they did not make the progress the matches his level of ambition.

Madrid are keen on landing the England captain but are cautious of doing another transfer deal with Spurs owner Daniel Levy.

However, in an attempt to sweeten the Spurs chairman, as well as bring down the price of Kane, the La Liga club are willing to throw in Bale as part of the deal.
