Tottenham have made a solid start to the season which could have been much better at this stage.
Jose Mourinho's side endured back to back defeats before their 1-1 draw with Wolves on Sunday which saw them miss out on a chance to jump up to third.
The early start suggested that Spurs could challenge for the title but the last three games have put the club's situation into perspective ahead of the January transfer window.
In light of this, here are the latest rumours on Tottenham ahead of next month.
Sabitzer stance on Tottenham move
Tottenham have reportedly begun talks with Marcel Sabitzer and now the RB Leipzig midfielder's stance on his future has been revealed.
That's at least according to Bild, who are reporting that the playmaker wants to make the move to Spurs.
It has previously been claimed that Spurs have made a player-plus-cash offer for Sabitzer but it's not clear who the player is. Sabitzer is a versatile midfielder capable of playing in a number of positions, and that's something which Mourinho is said to be eager to find in the January window.
Spurs considering Eriksen return
Tottenham are considering entering the transfer market to re-sign former star midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The 28-year-old has endured a rough ride at Inter Milan since leaving the Premier League and now it's reported that Spurs are monitoring his situation.
Calciomercato claims that Mourinho's men could make a play for the Denmark international next month.
Pochettino to sign for PSG
Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is edging closer to his return to football management.
Pochettino has been out of the game since his sacking by Tottenham last November but the Argentine is now set to take over at Paris Saint-Germain.
The French side parted ways with Thomas Tuchel and now Pochettino has signed a deal to replace the German, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
