It’s exactly three weeks until Tottenham Hotspur begin their 2020/21 Premier League season with Everton coming to north London.
Jose Mourinho is entering his first full season in charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and will be looking to make some progress on a disappointing campaign last time around.
To do that, Spurs will perhaps need to look in the transfer market to bring some top talent in, as well as keeping hold of their best players after failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
With that being said, here are the very latest Tottenham-related transfer rumours from around Europe.
Man City chase Spurs star
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer, according to HITC.
However, City know a deal “would be impossible” at this stage - probably in reference to how much the 27-year-old would cost.
According to the report, Guardiola sees Kane as the perfect long-term replacement for the ageing Sergio Aguero.
It seems as if Spurs would be very reluctant to sell Kane this summer - even for a huge offer - as they look to return to their best.
Celtic interested in Sessegnon
Celtic have registered an interest in Tottenham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, according to a report in The Athletic.
The 20-year-old made the switch to north London last summer from Fulham, but failed to cement a starting position down.
Unsurprisingly, Sessegnon is looking to play regular first-team football next campaign, and he could be set to make a loan switch elsewhere.
Celtic are the latest club to register an interest in the versatile youngster, with Ajax and Barcelona also keen, according to reports.
Leverkusen eye Aurier deal
German side Bayer Leverkusen have joined the race to sign Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier, according to Sky Sports.
AC Milan have already registered an interest in the Ivorian defender, but now the Bundesliga side are also looking at him.
Aurier joined Spurs from PSG back in 2017 but after last season, which was full of inconsistencies, Mourinho may look to sell him.
Spurs are rather short in the right-back department, but if the right offer does come in for Aurier, then he would be allowed to leave in order to raise funds.
