Tottenham are edging closer towards the top four since Jose Mourinho took over but more needs to be done in the transfer market.
That has been seen in recent months even despite improvements in certain areas since Mauricio Pochettino departed.
And if the latest rumours are anything to go by, there could be some incomings and outgoings this summer.
Here is the latest gossip round-up.
Man Utd chase Dier
Manchester United want to sign Eric Dier this summer from Tottenham, according to the Daily Star.
Dier has been out of favour this season at Spurs, featuring eleven times in the Premier League.
It's said that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a fan of the 26-year-old midfielder because he can also operate as a defender.
Bale tipped to stay in Spain
Gareth Bale has been tipped to stay at Real Madrid amid links with Manchester United and Tottenham.
Bale left Spurs for Real in 2013 but has been constantly linked with a return to the Premier League.
However, the 30-year-old forward will stay in La Liga according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.
Battle for young gun
Ismail Jakobs is attracting interest from Leicester City and Tottenham.
MailOnline state that the Foxes have joined the race for the 20-year-old FC Koln player.
Agent confirms bid
An agent has claimed that Tottenham bid for Cengiz Under of AS Roma in the January transfer window.
Turkish paper Gunes has stated that Jose Mourinho is a fan of the 22-year-old.
"Offers have arrived from abroad [Premier League] and Italy for Cengiz however, Roma has not accepted them,” agent Utku Cenikli said, according to reports.
