There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Spurs have some key players – including Harry Kane – whose future in north London remains in doubt.
However, big-money moves may be harder to come by in the next few months with Premier League clubs expected to be slightly more cautious with what they spend due to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak around the world.
But with the transfer window in mind, here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours from today.
United urged to raid Spurs for Son
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel thinks his former side should do everything they can to sign Son Heung-min from Tottenham in the summer.
United have already been linked with a move for Kane in the summer, as well as Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho, but the former goalkeeper believes they should make Son their priority.
When asked on his official Twitter account who United should realistically target in the summer, Schmeichel replied: “Son from Spurs”.

The South Korea forward has been instrumental in Spurs’ season so far – scoring nine goals and assisting eight for his team-mates.
Vertonghen considering offers
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen is said to be considering an offer from Spanish side Real Betis, with the Belgian out of contract at Spurs in the summer.
As well as Betis, Italian duo Roma and Inter Milan are also believed to be interested in the 33-year-old’s services, as well as Valencia.
However, the Daily Star report Betis have offered the former Ajax man a two-year contract to join them after holding talks with his agent.

Vertonghen has not announced he’s leaving Spurs, but he is expected to, with the club reportedly in the market for other defensive options.
Spurs eye Monaco defender
Tottenham are interested in signing Monaco defender Guillermo Maripan in the summer, according to Todo Fichajes.
The report suggests the French club are willing to let the 26-year-old leave if the right offer came their way.
With Vertonghen set to leave, and rumours of Juan Foyth doing the same, José Mourinho could be tempted to look for alternatives.
Monaco reportedly could let Maripan leave the club if an offer came in at around €20m.
