Tottenham Hotspur take on London rivals Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup tomorrow evening.
Their search for a first Premier League win of the season on home soil continues after being held to a dramatic 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle United.
The Magpies were awarded a stoppage time penalty after Andy Carroll’s header hit the hand of Eric Dier, much to the disgust of both managers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
With four points from their opening three league games, Spurs have been linked with making more acquisitions before the transfer window closes across Europe next Monday night.
Here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours.
Manchester United eye Milik
Manchester United have been linked with a late move to sign Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli before the window slams shut.
Polish forward Milik has been linked with Spurs for much of this summer, but United are also said to be keen on acquiring another forward.
As per Metro, reports in Italy suggest that the Red Devils have held informal talks with Milik, as have Manchester City and RB Leipzig.
Skrinar latest
After holding talks with Inter Milan over the weekend, reports suggest that Spurs are set to launch an official bid for Milan Skrinar.
Football Insider suggest that Mourinho’s side have been in talks with Inter over a £30m move for the 25-year-old, who has 33 Slovakia caps to his name.
Since joining Inter in 2017, Skrinar has played 128 times in all competitions and would add plenty of experience in the heart of Spurs’ defence.
Sessegnon’s Leeds links
Leeds United are among a number of clubs who have been linked with a loan move to sign Spurs winger Ryan Sessegnon.
The Athletic are reporting that the Whites are among a number of clubs keen to sign Sessegnon on loan, as are Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion and Hertha Berlin.
The report suggests that any loan move would want £15k-a-week to cover Sessegnon’s wages, as well as a loan fee.
